Picnic and Kites
Since we have been having such great weather, we decided to go on a picnic and fly kites with Jake's family. The weather wasn't as great as it was yesterday, but it was still beautiful, but windy. Great for flying a kite. Jake and I experimented and made homemade fried chicken. It was really good. Neither of us had done it before, and I'd have to say that it turned out delicious. We decided that it wasn't worth making, especially when you can get fried chicken from Albertson's for cheap. We had a fun time flying the kite and playing with his brother and sister. Tean didn't like the wind very much, so he stayed in the stroller, out of the wind and fell asleep during all the excitement. Next year I'm sure he'll enjoy it a lot more!

3 Year Anniversary!
Yesterday, Jake and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. In the morning we went to Idaho Falls and Jake got set apart to be a veil worker in the I.F. temple. It was great to spend part of our anniversary in the temple, although we didn't have time to do a session because our sister-in-law was watching Tean, we still felt a wonderful spirit. After we went shopping at Old Navy, because Pocatello still hasn't graduated to getting one. Jake didn't enjoy it, but he put up with it for me! That evening, Jake's parents were great and watched Tean for us so that we could go out by ourselves for a little while. We went to eat at a Mexican restuarant and then went bowling. Jake beat me in the first game, but then I beat him in the second. We had a wonderful time.
I can't believe it has already been three years since we've married! It seems like it was just yesterday that we got married, but it also seems like we've been married for a long time. We have done so much since we've been married. The Lord has truly blessed our little family, the greatest blessing being our son Tean. I love Jake so much. He does so much to support our family and to make sure that we have everything we need. He makes me happy and laugh all the time. He is a wonderful dad to our son, and cares so much for him. I know Tean loves to be with his dad because his dad makes him laugh. I love to see them together. I love that Jake is strong in the gospel and is willing to serve. I'm glad we got married three years ago in the temple so that we can be a forever family!

Home At Last
So we had a little scare with Tean. For about a week he had a stuffy nose, but was acting just fine. On Thursday, Tean was really fussy. That night he had a temperature of 101 F. I gave him some tylenol, and it went down, but he was still fussy. Friday morning he had a lot of wax in his ears, so we decided to take him to the doctor. The doctor wanted to do some tests on him, and they didn't have the supplies at the clinic, so I was told to go to the emergency room to get some tests run. At the emergency room, after waiting forever, the doctor said that his ears were fine, but there was something in his urine so they thought he had a kidney infection. They wanted to admit him to the hospital and give him a shot of antibotics and observe him. The doctor he saw in the hospital said that he had a perferated eardrum. The antibiotics treated his ear infection. They didn't think he had a kidney infection. In his urine there was some white blood cells, but no bacteria grew so they didn't know why he had white blood cells in his urine. After getting another shot of antibiotics, we got to go home last night. Tean is doing a lot better. He acts a lot more himself and was smiling a lot today. We need to take him in tomorrow for a follow up, so hopefully everything will be great then. Now Jake needs to get over his sinus infection and I need to get over my cold!

Tean's Baby Blessing
On Sunday we blessed Tean. It was great to have a lot of our family and friends come up to Pocatello for this special occasion for Tean. Jake did a wonderful job blessing our son. The spirit was strong as he gave him a name and a blessing. I am so grateful for my husband. I'm so glad that he is worthy to hold the priesthood so he can bless our family. I love him so much, and my love for him has grown even more since we've had our son and I see him with Tean each day. I'm so glad that we can be an eternal family! We are truly blessed! Grandma and Grandpa Moon with Tean. Grandma and Grandpa Chandler with Tean. Great-Grandma Chandler and Grandpa Chandler with Tean and Jake. Marlaina, Preslyn, and Demarie with Tean.
