Teancum's First Birthday!

Yesterday, Tean turned one! Boy, does time sure fly! We had a birthday party for his birthday and invited some friends. Since it was also Jake's brother's birthday on the same day, we invited him and he had some cake too. Tean enjoyed his presents, and got mad at me when I took him away from his presents to go eat cake. Once he tasted the cake, he didn't mind. Tean didn't want to blow out his candle. He tried, but didn't have enough air, so I had to help him a little bit(the cake Tean got to dive into)He was a little hesitant at first to try the cake, but once he got a taste of it, he thought it was great that he could eat all he wanted. wondering if he could eat the ball. Yes, the ball was edibleWe love Tean so much and we are so glad he came to our family. He makes us laugh all the time. In his first year, Tean has learned so much. He crawls like a pro (so much so that he hates to walk with us holding our hands). He loves to feed himself (sometimes he'll spit out what I put in his mouth, just so he can put it in himself). He has taken a few steps by himself and he can stand by himself, even though sometimes he gets scared and sits down. He can say a few words, and mimics us a lot. He smiles a lot and makes funny faces. Tean loves to play with balls and cars. He'll even make car sounds when he plays with them. He's so much fun to have around!
