Ward Christmas Party

At the beginning of December, we had our ward Christmas Party.  For the program, Tean got to sing a couple of songs.
He liked getting up and singing the Christmas songs for us.

It was fun going to the Christmas party, socializing with our friends, and eating yummy food!

Decorating For Christmas

Tean was so excited this year to decorate for Christmas.  Before Thanksgiving he kept asking me if we could decorate and I kept telling him we had to wait until after Thanksgiving, so when it came time to decorate he was super excited.
Unfortunately I only took one picture, and forgot to take a final picture of the decorating.  Oh, well.  Tean had a fun time putting the decorations on the tree and all around the house.  I love Christmastime and was excited to get the house looking like Christmas!

Thanksgiving

So we had three Thanksgivings and I didn't take a single picture.

On Thanksgiving day, we had dinner at Jake's parent's house with his sister and her family, his brother and his family, and Jake's aunt and uncle from Blackfoot.  We had some great food and just sat around and chit chatted.  That evening, Jake and I went to Wal-Mart for their black Friday sales.  We got most of Christmas taken care of while there.  We just had to buy one more thing for Ziah and something for his parents.  It was crazy over there, but kind of fun.

The next day, we went to Lowes and got a couple things on their black Friday sale.  Then we headed down to Utah.  On the way down, we stopped in Ogden and did some shopping and bought a few more things.  That evening, my family had their Thanksgiving.  We had it at a church, and once again the food was delicious.  After eating, Rett and Susie showed us a slideshow of their trip to Africa.  It was pretty cool.  It made me a little jealous.

On Saturday, we headed down to Provo for a Thanksgiving with Jake's extended family.  All his aunts and uncles and his mom's side got together.  We had fun playing games and eating more turkey and potatoes and pies.  We had a great weekend spending time with family, but it was nice to go home and relax that Saturday night.

Ziah and Tean

Ziah loves playing with Roxy and Roxy is so patient with Ziah.  Roxy will let Ziah sit on her, lay on her, bounce on her, and roll on her.
Ziah loves to chase after Roxy with his walker.  He thinks it is so funny if he runs into her.

One day Jake had to work late at work, so we went over to say hi and bring him dinner.  Tean and Ziah had fun playing around in his chair and causing trouble.

Voice Male

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we went up to Idaho Falls and went to BYU's Voice Male Concert.  We went with Jake's parents, his brother and sister-in-law, and his sister and brother-in-law.
Jake and I really enjoyed the concert.  It was great to get out and go on a date together and enjoy some great music!

Tean Lost His First Tooth!

On November 23, Tean lost his first tooth!  A couple of weeks before, I had noticed that there was a little gap between his teeth, so I looked at it and one of his teeth were loose.  About a week later we had a dentist appointment and they took x-rays of his teeth and it showed that his two bottom adult teeth were starting to come in.  I told Tean to wiggle the tooth every day.  He didn't want us to pull it out because it might hurt.  We were sitting in the car one day waiting for something, and Jake was looking at his tooth.  It was practically out, so Jake moved it back and it popped out!
Tean was super excited to have finally lost the tooth.
I let him hold it while we went inside to the place we were at.  On the way out, he dropped the tooth in the dirt and lost it.  We looked and looked, but couldn't find it.
He was really sad that he lost the tooth, so he made sure that I helped him write a note to the tooth fairy, explaining that it was lost and where it was at.  Luckily, the tooth fairy wrote back and said that she found the tooth and left Tean a dollar!  Tean was really excited that he heard from the tooth fairy that she was able to find the tooth and that he got some money too!

Crazy Ziah

Ziah is so funny sometimes.  He loves to put things in his mouth and then show you he can hold them there without any hands.
It is funny watching him do it and the scoot along on his bum while doing it.
He was entertaining us in church one Sunday by doing it with a sacrament cup.

Halloween

We had lots of times to dress up for Halloween.  On the 29th our ward had a trunk-or-treat.  Ziah has a lion this year.
Tean was excited to be Buzz Lightyear, even though I don't think that he has ever seen the movie Toy Story.
It was a little cold trunk-or-treating, so Ziah was content snuggling in his stroller.
Tean had fun going around to the cars and getting candy, but he also loved passing out candy to those who came by our trunk.
Ziah about had it after being there an hour, so he was kept happy by a twizzler.
The next day, there was a Halloween party at the library that we went to.  Tean had fun going there, making a spider web, listening to Halloween stories, and playing Halloween games.

On Halloween, we went to Jake's parent's ward's dinner and trunk-or-treat.  Tean had fun going around with his cousins.  After that we came home and went around our block trick-or-treating.  When we were going home, we had to drive up Satterfield.  It was crazy with people.  We talked to people who live on the street. and they said that they get at least 500 people on Halloween.  Crazy!  We are only a street down from Satterfield, and we hardly got anyone.  We all had a great time trick-or-treating and celebrating Halloween!

Carving Pumpkins

The Monday before Halloween, we decided to carve pumpkins for Halloween.  Tean was really excited to carve them.  I helped him cut a hole in the top.
He got all of the guts out from the inside.  He wasn't to excited about that part at first, but once he started doing it, he liked it.
After tean picked his face, he wanted to carve it himself, so I started it and then he finished it.  He didn't do too bad staying on the lines.
This is my pumpkin that I carved while Tean was carving his pumpkin.
Ziah even wanted to join in the fun.
Tean and his finished pumpkin.  He wanted it to be a scary pumpkin.
After carving the pumpkins, Tean wanted to paint his pumpkin that he got at Swore Farms.
He had a great time painting and carving his pumpkin!

Swore Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

For our preschool field trip in October, we went to Swore Farms and did their corn maze and went on a wagon ride and picked out pumpkins.  Tean had a fun time playing with the activities they had before they went in the corn maze.
In the corn maze, there were questions and they had two different ways to go depending on the answer.  If you got it right, you found another clue.  If you didn't, you ran into a dead end.
Tean had fun running around in the corn maze with his friends.
After going through the corn maze, we went on a wagon ride out to their pumpkin patch.  You can tell that Ziah was really excited.
Tean had fun looking around for the perfect pumpkin.
Tean finally found the perfect pumpkin that he wanted.
We found one for Ziah, too.
We had fun coming back from the pumpkin patch and were excited to bring home our pumpkins to paint them.
