White Cloud Mountains

Last week, Jake went with the Scouts in our ward on their high adventure trip to the White Cloud Mountains. Jake had no idea where he was going. When he was getting ready to leave, Jake asked the other leader going if he needed a pass to get into Yellowstone (that is where he thought they were going). The leader said, no, we're going to Challis area. When they got there, Jake asked where they were hiking to. The leader said they had to get to the white clouds. A little later he realized it was the White Cloud Mountains. He hiked about 30 miles during the trip. He was really sore when he got home. The next day he could barely walk. He was not in shape to do all that walking. He saw bear while there. The lake everyone jumped into with nothing but their skivies on, with glaciers around it.

It looks cold!! But Beautiful!!Our boys are going on a 50 mile bike treck for their high adventure. Biking 25, camping overnight, biking another 25... Dustin volunteered to drive his truck behind them just in case there was an emergency and so they didn't have to bike with their camping geer on their backs.. now isn't that thoughtful! (or... knew he can't bike 50 miles ;) )
