Yellowstone

A few weeks ago Tean, Marta (our foreign exchange student), and I went to Yellowstone with Jake's parents. Unfortunately, Jake couldn't come because he was in Pennsylvania working. I had picked up Marta late the night before and early the next morning we were on our way up to Yellowstone. We first went to Old Faithful. It was really cool looking! After we walked around and saw some geysers that were around Old Faithful. Tean insisted on walking all by himself. There were so many pretty things there to see. Some of them seemed out of this world, like they belonged on Mars or something. Here is Tean reading a sign (or trying to fall into one of the geysers!) We saw some antelope and some buffalo. This buffalo walked right past our car as we were driving. It was so pretty. I hadn't been to Yellowstone in a long time. I don't remember very much of it. I had forgotten how amazing it is! I think Tean's favorite part of the trip were the rocks. He thought they were fascinating. This is us with our foreign exchange student. She is from Spain. We camped one night in Yellowstone. I think it was a pretty big culture shock to her. Tean just loved being able to be outside all the time. Tean was exhausted by the time we were through!

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I'm sorry for you that Jake couldn't go, but how lucky are you guys to live so close to such beautiful scenery?
