Battle of the Bay
Yesterday Jake and I went to our very first pro football game ever. The 49ers, which is Jake's favorite NFL team, were playing a preseason game at Oakland, so we decided to get tickets and go to the game. We were cheering for the 49ers, which isn't super safe at Oakland stadium. Raider fans are mean! The stadium is in the GHETTO. I rode the BART down to the stadium and met Jake there because Jake had to work earlier and he was knocking in that area. There weren't as many 49er fans there as I thought there would be because we were close to San Francisco. While it was fun to be at an NFL game, we were kind of sad because the 49ers lost:(

Great Deals!
A couple weeks ago I put a bid on a stroller on e-bay and I won it for 99 cents! All I had to do was go and pick it up, which was only about 10 minutes away. It is one of those nice big ones, and it could be for a girl or a boy. When I got there to pick it up, the lady gave me a baby bouncer for free! It is a really cute rainforest bouncer that plays music (but not too loud). All I had to do was clean it. After a little soap and water, they both looked as good as new! Now all we have to do is get them home....

Bear Lake
This past week I went to Utah to my family's campout at Bear Lake. Jake had to stay home and work:( All of my family was there, so it was great to see everyone. Some of my nieces and nephews have really grown a lot since I last saw them. We had lots of fun swimming, boating, playing games, and eating lots and lots of food!
Here is a video of my niece, Demarie singing a Little Mermaid song

Heat Wave
Today in Dublin:
109 degrees!
It's sizzling hot here! Thank goodness for air conditioning.
Also, we have flowers on our cucumbers and tomatoes. Our carrots are the size of Jake's finger! Yea! Our veggies are growing!

Independence Day
Jake and I didn't do much for the 4th of July. Jake had to work all day, but at least he sold 3 alarms! When Jake got home, we had some fun and did some fireworks! (The video is kind of dark, but you can see stuff once the fireworks are lit.)

Another Garden Update
I haven't updated my garden pictures for a while. We decided to bring them with us to California instead of planting them at home. We didn't have room to plant all the plants, so we had to pick and choose which ones to use. I planted the corn, but they died. I don't know if they didn't get enough sun or it was too hot or what. So I planted some more seeds after the corn died. We hope in the next month or so we'll be able to harvest our veggies!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game
Jake's office won a competition against another office so we got to go to a Major League Baseball game. We went to the Giants game where they played the A's. A big rivalry! We took the BART (the bay areas public transportation system) down to the game. The game wasn't super exciting. There wasn't much scoring until the end of the game, and then it got more exciting. Boy, was it cold! We forgot that it gets colder by the bay and we didn't bring any jackets. We didn't really care who won, so we decided to cheer for the A's since we lived closer to Oakland than San Fransisco. There were lots of A's fans there, probably about half and half. The A's pulled off the win, beating the Giants 4-0.
