Tean 4 months

Tean had his 4 month appointment today.

Height - 24 1/2" (33 percentile)
Weight - 13lbs 5 oz (33 percentile)
Head - 17" (75 percentile)

I hope he grows more and takes after his dad more than me in height and weight. He's laughing and smiling a lot. He can sit up with support. He's trying to roll over, but hasn't quite gotten it yet. He's so very close to doing it. He's a little jabberbox. We're having so much fun with him!!

Alden's Wedding

On Wednesday my brother Alden got married to Candice. It was great to see my brother get married. He was the last one of us to get married. It was pretty neat that all of my brothers and sisters were in the temple when he got married. We are really glad to have Candice in the family. Alden made a good pick. Tean with his cousin Brody and his Aunt Milisa. My two sisters and me with Tean, Brody, and baby boy due in September.

Tean Laughing

Last night we got Tean laughing so hard. It was so cute to see him like this. I love it when he laughs and smiles, which lucky for us is a lot!

Great Children's Book

So I've been going to the library and getting books to read to Tean. I've been getting a lot of Dr. Seuss books. There are a lot of his books that I have never read. I'm enjoying reading them to Tean, and he'll even listen and smile and laugh when I read. I read this one to him tonight and I thought it was hilarious. Go out and read it!

Computers and Tean

We finally have a computer! In about 1 weeks time, all three of our computers broke. One of our laptops won't turn on for some reason. Our other one's wireless something broke, so we had to send it to HP to get fixed. Luckily it was under warranty so that was free. Our other computer will turn off randomly. Sometimes it will give us 15 minutes on it and other times only 1 minute. At least it would warn us 1 minute in advance before it turned off. Our laptop is now back from HP and is in great working condition so we can now be on the computer!!!
Tean is growing more every day. He has been jabbering so much more these last few days. For the past three nights he has slept at least 6 hours in a row. Yea!!!!

Tean

Isn't he the cutest little boy ever?

Jake's Trip To Mexico

Jake had a great time in Mexico with the Castellano family. He got to go to the temple with them and see them get sealed together as a family for forever. He said that it was an amazing experience. He baptized the Castellano family while he was on his mission.

Jake In Mexico

Jake left on Monday to go down to Mexico for a week. A family that he baptized on his mission went to the temple yesterday and Jake had told them that he would go down when they went to the temple. Jake said that it was an amazing experience. I wish I could have been there too for the wonderful experience. I miss Jake a lot and am a little worried that he might catch the Swine Flu, but I just have to pray that the Lord will protect him while he is down there. I'll post pictures that he took when he gets back.

Easter With the Chandlers

On Easter Sunday we went up to Jake's parent's house to celebrate. We had a nice dinner and then went outside and hid Easter eggs. We each took our turn hiding them and then having everyone else find them.Tean holding an Easter egg.We had a fun spending Easter with his family. I'm so thankful for Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made for us. I know that He died for our sins and that He rose three days later and was resurrected. I know He made it possible so that we can live with Him and we will be resurrected someday. I'm glad we had Easter so we could reflect more on Jesus Christ and His life.Jake and Tean chilling on the couch Easter night.

Gardening

So we are attempting to grow a garden again this year. We are going to be staying here this summer, so it should be more successful since we will be able to actually plant them in our yard and not in buckets like last year. We have A LOT of work to do in our yard. After being gone in the summer for the past two years and doing nothing to our yard, it has really started to overgrow and look a mess. We are slowing starting to get it to look better. We have pruned some of our trees and raked up about 15 big bags of leaves (although we still have a lot of leaves to rake up.) We are starting to get our garden ready to plant. We have already planted our seeds in doors. They are all ready to be planted outside, so we need to get the garden ready. We started yesterday. Hopefully, within the next few days we'll be able to plant our garden outside. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and stay warm enough to plant! Tean even came out for a little bit to watch us garden, but then I think he was getting sick of the wind and started fussing so I had to take him inside. We hope our plants will grow!
