Four Wheelers

We have been looking to buy some four wheelers for a while.  We wanted one with a plow so that in the winter we didn't have to shovel our driveway.  Jake found 3 four wheelers on craigslist, with a plow and a trailer for a really good deal, so we drove up to Rigby, looked at them and then decided to buy them.  There were two big ones and one small one that Tean loves to drive with me on it with him
Tean always wants to go on a ride on the four wheelers now.  He was a little nervous going on them at first, but after a time or two on them, he loved it.  Ziah absolutely loves riding on them.  I drove him around the block on the little one, then I took him off and he started crying.  He stopped when I put him back on.
We are excited about the purchase we made and look forward to the snow so we can try out the plow. (That is the only reason I am looking forward to snow, not excited about the cold.)

Roxi Walking the Kids

About a month ago, we got a harness for Roxie to see if she could pull the kids in our bike trailer.  We decided to try it out and we hooked her up.
She was a little leery of it at first, but then after a bit seemed to be okay with it.

I had to steer a little bit, because she didn't always walk very strait.
Uphill she had a little harder time pulling, but she could still do it.
Tean and Mosiah loved having Roxie pull them around.

Watermelon

My little boy sure does love watermelon!
It is so cute watching him eat it.  He will have some in both his fists, his mouth will be stuffed full of it, and he will be still be trying to stuff some in his mouth.

Cozumel, Mexico

In Cozumel, Mexico, we decided to go horseback riding.  We were going to go swimming with the dolphins, but it was a lot of money for about 20 minutes of swimming with them.  This is the place where we went to ride horses.  It had been raining a lot so their were parts that were flooded.
We waited for them to get all the horses together.  I felt bad for some of the horses.  You could see their hip bones and they looked so thin and hungry.
 My horse's name was Princess.
They put Jake on the healthiest looking horse.
We took a horse ride to some Mayan ruins that were on the island.  Part of the time we were on the road.
We got to go through the jungle part of the way.  That was pretty cool.  When we were in the middle of the jungle it started pouring rain.  It was almost like buckets of water were being poured on our heads.  As we were going through the jungle, there was a branch that I had to duck under.  I ducked, but not enough and my hair got caught in the branch.  My horse kept going, but I didn't.  Luckily my horse stopped a bit, but it hurt a lot.  I finally got the branch pulled off the tree and then out of my hair and my horse just kept on going.  I had a gash in my head and was bleeding a bit from that.
When we got to the ruins and the church that was by the ruins, it had mostly stopped raining.  We were soaked.
This is the rock that was the Mayan ruins.  I think they said it was to the fertility god.
After riding horses, we went to the beach to snorkel.  It was raining off and on, but it was still a lot of fun.
We saw a lot of cool fish while snorkeling, and we didn't even have to swim through a ton of garbage like we did in Honduras.
We had an awesome time in Cozumel, despite the rain.

Beliz

In Belize we went tubing down a river in the middle of a rain forest.
The river went through an old Mayan cave that the Mayans thought to be sacred.
We had to walk for about 30 minutes to get to the place where we started in the river.  Jake was super nice and carried my tube for me.
In a few places we saw these ants.  They were carrying leaves.  Our guide told us that you can tell the weather by these ants.  When you see them carrying leaves, they are preparing for a storm, so it will rain in the next 48 to 72 hours.
While on our hike to the starting point, we had cross the river that we were going to float down.  The water was cold!

There were some stairs and steep paths on the hike, but for the most part it was really easy.
Getting all situated in our tubes to start our river run.
We were excited!
It was beautiful.  Lots of really pretty views.
Inside the cave was pretty cool too.  I wish my camera took better pictures.
Going out of the cave.
Having fun on the trip.
More cool parts of the jungle.
After we got done going through the caves, our guide let us get out of the tubes and float and swim in the river.  It was pretty fun to do, but sometimes the water was going fast that it was hard to stand up and get your footing.  It wasn't very deep at all.
After tubing down the river we went shopping for some souvenirs.  After that it was time to get back on the ship so we headed back.  We had a great time floating the river in Beliz.  It was a pretty country and not a lot of people.

Roatan, Honduras

In Honduras, we decided to go on a zip line and go snorkeling.
We had a lot of fun on the zip line.  Jake had been on one before, but they wouldn't let him go upside down or do flips and stuff, but on this zip line, they let us do all that stuff.

After going normal on a couple of the lines, I decided to go upside down.  It was a lot of fun.
There were a lot of lines, probably about 20 that we went on.
Jake even did a flip off the platform when he went on one of the zip lines.
This was a bridge that we had to cross to get from one stopping point to another.
In the same place where we did the zip line, they had some cool animals.
We got to hold some monkeys and feed them.

They were really cute and loved to climb all over us.

They had most of the animals that were native to the island.
After we went on the zip line, we went to a beach to go snorkeling.  There was a ton of garbage in it.  It was pretty gross.  We had to wade through a lot of garbage to get to where we were snorkeling.  Even though there was a lot of garbage, we saw a lot of pretty fish.  There was corral really close to the beach that we were able to swim out to and see all the pretty fish.  I just had to not think about all the garbage that was around me.
We had a great time in Honduras and had a blast on the zip line and seeing the cool animals.
