Independence Day!

On the 4th of July we went to the Kaysville parade with Nathan and Daisy's family and Milisa and Lance's family.  Tean loved running out and getting the candy.

It was a pretty long parade.  Ziah decided to take a nap in the middle of it and even stayed asleep when the sirens went off on the fire trucks.  Here he is waking up from his nap.
At the end of the parade there is usually a water parade where some of the fire trucks spray water on the crowd.  We were in the spray zone so we waited to get sprayed.  One truck sprayed us, but then the other trucks had to stop because a girl got bucked off a horse and they had people taking care of that.
After the parade we went to Lance and Milisa's house where Jake helped Lance do some electrical work.  After that we went to Nathan and Daisy's house and went swimming.  Ziah even joined in the fun!
At night we did a few fireworks that we had bought.  We lit them off before watching Layton City's fireworks.  I love that we can see the fireworks from my parent's house.
Tean liked being able to throw some fireworks.
We had a great day celebrating our great nation's birthday.  We are so blessed to live in such a wonderful country!
