Boise Zoo

On Monday, Jake had to go to Boise to service an alarm, so we went along and went to the zoo after.  Unfortunately it was kind of rainy, but we didn't get too wet.  Also, when Jake was on his way to fix the alarm Ziah decided to throw up, so Jake dropped us off at the store to clean him up and we had to buy him something to wear because we didn't have anything with us.  He was feeling a little sick all day :(
All around the zoo they had these big dinosaurs that moved an made noises.  Surprisingly, Tean didn't want his picture by them, so Ziah and I decided to get one by the T-Rex.
They had a butterfly walk where we saw lots and lots and lots of really pretty butterflies.

Tean loved going in this egg!
Some monkeys and their baby.  You can't tell that one has a baby in the picture, but they do and it was really cute!
Tean had to have his picture by the giraffe fossil.

These lions and the giraffes reminded us of Grandma and Grandpa Moon on their mission in Kenya.  This lion got up on the hill in the middle of his cage an roared and roared.
Tean was a little nervous to have his picture taken by the lion.
I think Tean's face in this picture is hilarious.  He did not smile while petting the snake, but he did want to pet it twice, and even wanted to go back for more but there were too many people around the snake.
Tean and me and some wallabies in the wallaby walk.
Tean and a sloth bear.  It was cool that the bear was right next to the window.
Chilling in the penguin viewing area.
Tean absolutely loved the groundhog holes that he could go up.

When we saw this animal, without seeing what it actually was, Jake said to me, "Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a fox that big."  Tean heard Jake say that and he said, "Actually that's not a fox, it's a mane wolf."  Sure enough we looked on the sign and it said it was a mane wolf.  Thanks to Diego, Tean knew that!
Jake enjoying the zoo!

We had a great time at the zoo.  The ride home was a little long because Ziah was feeling sick, so he wasn't his usually happy self.
